In Our Lesson where we were first introduced to cameras before we were aloud to film our class was given a Introduction on how to use the Filming Eqiupment which included:
- The Video Cameras
- The Tripod
- Memory Cards And Readers
- Video Drives
We Learned how to correctly use the cameras and all their Functions such as how to record, replay videos, turning the camera on and off, zooming, how to manualy focus and auto focus. We also learned how to adjust the tripods and how to place the video cameras on them safely. Our class was also advised that when filming our thrillers, it was best to film while a camera was on a tripod, as you then avoid the shot being shakey, too much movement or filming at a non straight angle. We learned where the memory card shot are on the cameras and how to change back and forth to which memory card you wish to save on A,or B. Videos drives where also shown to us as this is what we se to save each groups individual work.
It terms of health and safety, we learned when and when not to use the camera, for example in the rain. However we were also given large umbrellas to use to protect the camera, in the circumstance that it did start raining while we were filming.
